These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cinemoji mobile app, published by Stratega (Chris Guida) ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Cinemoji, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Cinemoji for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, puzzle data, or assets of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

2. The game

Cinemoji is an endless emoji-rebus movie and TV guessing game. You guess each title from emoji, with up to six guesses per puzzle and one additional emoji clue revealed after each incorrect guess. Solving puzzles in a row builds a win streak, which resets after a miss. Puzzles are served from a shuffled deck that reshuffles when exhausted — there's no daily limit. Game rules, content, and features may change over time as we improve the app.

3. Ads and monetization

Cinemoji is free and supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. By using the app you agree that ads may be shown during normal use, subject to your tracking and consent choices (see our Privacy Policy). We may, in the future, offer an optional purchase or subscription to enhance the experience; if and when we do, its terms and pricing will be presented to you in the app before any charge.

4. Intellectual property & disclaimer of affiliation

Cinemoji uses only emoji and plain text titles for gameplay and includes no posters, stills, logos, or other studio artwork. Movie and television titles are referenced solely for the purpose of the guessing game. Cinemoji is an independent work and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any movie studio, television network, or streaming service. All titles, trademarks, and related rights belong to their respective owners. The Cinemoji app itself, its design, code, and original content are owned by Stratega.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to disrupt or interfere with its operation, circumventing security or technical limitations, or using it in violation of any applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Cinemoji is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Cinemoji is an offline app; we do not operate a live service required for its core functionality.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stratega and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Cinemoji. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute that is not subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
